Chris Brice is 13 years of age and lives near Stamford , Lincs. He won a music scholarship and attends Stamford School , where he is a member of their orchestra, jazz, & concert bands. He has appeared in concerts with the “Coldstream Guards” & “Royal Scots Dragoon Guards”.

Three years ago, Pete Collins recommended Chris to join the very successful Youth Brass 2000 and he is now their Head of Percussion, recently winning Best Percussion at the National Brass Band Festival of Great Britain where Youth Brass won the coveted Music Prize. They are also the current French Open Youth Champions and winners of the “Brass at the Guild”.

Chris Jeans, Musical Director of YB2K, has been a huge influence on Chris’ rapid musical development and after a guest appearance at the Brass in Concert, November 2005, Chris was invited to join Ransome as percussionist.

Chris is also a member of the “ RockTech Rock School ” based in Cambridge and last year performed at the Cambridge Corn Exchange with the band “Ceasura”. During the last year Chris and friends have formed another rock band “Miles of Sky” and are performing at the 2006 Rockingbeerfest in Huntingdon
